IMG_20181205_231456_624.jpgWe had 50-60 passionate, motivated, and engaged friends attend the event. Traveling from all over the NE, we met with members driving from John Day to Joseph and we truly appreciate your dedication to public land awareness and making the trip. BHA Life Member Mark Penninger also shared an educational presentation "Alaska DIY" during the event. Sharing his trips, successes, failures, and stories from his trips to the public lands up north.

We raffled off some BHA swag, a hat and gift card donated by Alpine Archery and Fly, as well as a highly sought after Grizzly Creek knife donated by Benchmade Knives. Many of you discussed the future of public land awareness and volunteering on the lands that mean so much to us. Oregon BHA is working on partnerships and volunteer opportunities within the area with Ladd Marsh, ODFW, Wallowa Mountains Hells Canyon Trails Association, and the Greater Hells Canyon Council for 2019. We are already looking forward to hosting more pint nights in the area after such a successful evening.
