Fall is almost here, and Public Lands Month is upon us! It's time to get outside with family and friends - fishing, hiking, hunting and enjoying the last of the warm weather before the snow flies.
Fall is also when we're on our public lands and waters, searching for peace and solitude along with harvesting wild game or trying to catch that fish of a lifetime. Access to our public lands and waters is essential for opportunities to further existing traditions or create new ones.
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Orvis have teamed up to give BHA members a chance to showcase your public lands experience and win one of four great prize packages by entering our 8th annual Public Lands and Waters Photo Contest.

First, second and third place winners will be selected by a panel of BHA experts, and the Peoples Choice award will be given to the image with the most Facebook likes. Winners will be featured in an upcoming issues of Backcountry Journal.
