The South Dakota chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is dedicated to conserving our public lands and waters. Our remaining 2.6 million acres of federal land is comparatively small to our western neighbors, but those areas are critical to our cherished outdoor recreation activities. We can't afford to lose any more! Our goal is to provide information and unite sportsmen, sportswomen and outdoor enthusiasts across the state to be the voice for those special places. It took tremendous effort and foresight to get us where we are today. It is our responsibility to leave it better for future generations. Our places, our legacy!
