Share Your Hunting or Fishing Story from National Monuments

On April 26, President Donald Trump signed an executive order mandating the unprecedented review of 27 national monuments nationwide - an action that could directly affect fish and wildlife habitat conservation, hunting and fishing opportunities and the future management of 11.3 million acres of our public lands and waters under the Department of Interior.

As outlined in this report, when done right, the designation of National Monuments can be a useful tool to safeguard important fish and wildlife habitat, while maintaining traditional hunting and fishing access.  If you or someone you know has hunted or fished in any of the national monuments under review, please help by sharing your story.

A big part of what makes Backcountry Hunters & Anglers a powerful voice for American sportsmen is the extent to which our work is grounded by your stories – by members who hunt the ridges and wade the streams and are willing to speak up on behalf of the wild public lands and waters on which we depend.  Share your story here:
